Crunchtime Data Integration
Inventory Management | Labor & Scheduling | Cruise
Overview
The ability to integrate Crunchtime's Inventory & Labor platform with other systems gives our customers access to import key setup data into Crunchtime for fast and efficient system configuration, and to export transactional and inventory data for reporting and analysis in their own tools.
There are four ways in which customers are able to access, analyze, and/or export their data out of Crunchtime, two of which can also be used to import their data into Crunchtime.
Data Integration Options
- APIs: Available for free via our Developer Hub. GET and POST calls are used respectively to download or upload data into Crunchtime. To get started, see the Documentation > Getting Started with APIs page. The list of Services can be found on the Documentation > Inventory & Labor page.
- Data Streaming: A paid, subscribed service that streams Crunchtime data at regular intervals into a provisioned Snowflake data warehouse, which gives restaurant brands access to raw Crunchtime data for reporting and analysis in their own tools. To get started, see the Data Streaming Reference Guide.
- BizIQ+: A paid Crunchtime reporting, analytics, and data visualization tool. Transactional and inventory data is exported from Crunchtime into BizIQ+, which includes reports and visualization that allow customers to review and analyze system-wide performance. To get started, see the BizIQ+ Reference Guide.
- Flat Files: Available for free as part of our core product suite. Can be imported into or exported out of the Crunchtime database via the following methods:
- Crunchtime Data Pump (CDP): Imports flat files containing employee & labor, inventory, point-of-sale & sales, vendor pricing & purchasing, and setup data.
- User Defined Exports (UDEs): Exports flat files containing transactional and inventory data.
For our standardized Reporting Exports, see the Standard Interface Guide for file formats and details.
